St George Memorial Day trip

We did it all down there. We went boating, Swimming, Ryan of coarse went golfing a couple of times. That's okay Talia and I tried to get some sun. I got called whitie from Jackie all weekend so I tried to do something about it. The weather was hot, but windy and overcast. So we didn't boat as much as we like. Saturday we all went to Sand Hollow. (which it was infested with swimmer's Itch). There was so many of us that we set up camp on the beach. The kids love that. Carson loved playing in the water and eating the sand. It was by far the greatest day down there. That night Stevie and my dad return from Vegas from Zija business. They taught me some cool stuff they learned down there. They asked" how is your day and I say great." Then they ask" why and I say because I chose to have and great day." Sorry to go off on that. I just love that it's so true. Anyway Sunday we went to Evan's and Jackie for blue cheese burgers (love). He has a pool so the kids had a ball. Monday they all went boating, but I stayed with my parents and they took me to lunch. We had a great time. It was so nice being back on the boat. We love our family we have the best family... loves with sugar on top

And it begins

It all started as a normal Sunday dinner at my parents house. I got this brilliant idea that the kids should play outside. So we could enjoy the quiet. Only ten minutes had passed when one of the kids ran in and said Brady broke the window. Of coarse Brady runs away. Ryan goes to the rescue. My mom starts to panic that Brady is upset. My dad just sits there and I start to cry ( don't ask me why). Ryan is looking at the window when Brady yells from the neighbors house "but dad I'm soooooooo sorry." I hope it was an eye opener to Brady not to throw rocks by the windows (they were looking for jewels). Brady had to pick up the toys to pay for the window. If you ask me Grandparents are way too nice. I'm in for a long ride if they are anything like Ryan. Somebody save me.

Tea Party

Ann took us to a tea party at the Grand America for my mom's birthday. It was a lot of fun. A lot of girl talk and laughing. Not to mention the good food. Ryan thought it was so funny that I was excited because as a little girl I never had tea parties. I was the bruiser. Always playing the boy stuff. It was something I would do again though. I love Ann and her girls.

New Year's "bugs"

New Year's was over run by bugs. I won't say much about them. If I resort to killing bugs you know how bad they were. I even had one on me. Well enough of the tragedy. We had a blast. Us girls put the babies to bed and that's when the real fun started. We got in our stylish snow clothes and went to show the boys what was up. The boys had to go and ruin our sledding hill with some jumps. Once we got a few runs of beings wimps. We got down to business. I think I even got some air. Overall we had a ball. Next year Lance I think you should show us all up and actually be the last to bed.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great, we have a lot to be grateful for. We have an amazing family. My parents are finally back. Karin, Jeff and Talia joined the Brailsford clan this year. My dad had us go around and tell everyone what we are grateful for. There was a lot I didn't have time to say. I'm Grateful for my boys. They are everything to me. I'm grateful for Ryan and how he works so hard for US. I'm even grateful for our trials. We have grown closer and have learned a lot this year. I love our friends. We have the best friends that are always there for us. I look forward to seeing you all more this coming year. Loves.

It's so hard to say goodbye

Saturday we attended the funeral of my step-dad, Chuck. He has been battling pancreatic cancer for the last ten months. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Chuck was such an inspiring individual. He lived his life passionately. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have him play such an intimate role in my life. The impact he had on my life and the lives of many others is beyond measure. He is a symbol of strength, an inspiration of success and an example of love. Thank you Chuck, we will miss you. This isn't goodbye, rather 'til we meet again. We love you.
